SULTRY After an early morning mist yesterday was sultry, with Intermittent sunshine, a light sea breeze later cooling the atmosphere. Records yesterday were:— Max. temperature in shade: 65.6. IN OTHER CENTRES Geraldine: After a heavy fog early yesterday morning, the day was warm and sunny. Temuka: Yesterday was fine and sunny with a light easterly wind. The maxunum temperature was 70 degrees ano the minimum 52. The glass was falling last evening. Waimate (for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. yesterday): Barometer 79 thermometer, maximum 78.2, minimum 53; bright sunshine. 9 hours 6 minutes; wind gauge, miles run in last 24 hours, 57. Yesterday was sunny and warm, with a light breeze in evidence.
