WOMEN’S DIVISION

HOOK BRANCH • The January meeting of ! the Hook Branch of the Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union took the form of ths annual picnic held in the hall grounds. Games were taken part in by all present, and races were run for the children. In the absence of the president, the vice-president (Mrs. Todd) extended congratulations to Mrs N Hadler on the birth of a daughter: Members were also informed of the drive for scrap metal, and arrangements were made for a collection to be made by the women of the district.
