Cable (pref.) 23/6. , STUDHOLMt SALE At the Studhohne sale on Wednesday, there was a large yarding of fat ewes, prices ranging from 10/10 to 12/10. Fat lambs made 22/4 to 22/10, medium wethers 19/3 and prime 17/10 to 25/10. Hie store sheep entry comprised mostly wether lambs. Good forward crossbred rape lambs sold at 18/to 20/10, medium lambs to 16/4 and small from 9/9 to 12/2. Romney cross ewe lambs sold at 16/- to 17/4. Two small lines of mixed sex lambs sold ‘it 10/3 to 11/11. A line of half and threequarter bred six tooth ewes realised ®/5. MINING NEWS The Waltahu Gold Mining Company reports the final wash-up in No. 29 paddock resulted in 560 z 12dwt of gold, for 26 shifts of eight hours each. The Iptal for the paddock was 184 oz 6dwt.
