Good forward crossbred rape lambs sold at 18/to 20/10, medium lambs to 16/4 and small from 9/9 to 12/2. Romney cross ewe lambs sold at 16/- to 17/4. Two small lines of mixed sex lambs sold ‘it 10/3 to 11/11. A line of half and threequarter bred six tooth ewes realised ®/5. MINING NEWS The Waltahu Gold Mining Company reports the final wash-up in No. 29 paddock resulted in 560 z 12dwt of gold, for 26 shifts of eight hours each. The Iptal for the paddock was 184 oz 6dwt.
