Outbreak of Black Sickness
The United China Relief Associa ton has stated that Kala Azar, India’s black sickness, has broken out in China and is taking a heavy toll of life in the Anhwei Province. The disease, which is cause! and transmitted by an infected sandfly bite, is causing 50 per cent mortality.
