INCREASE IN PAY
DISPUTE SETTLED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 28. The dispute in the box-making department and timber yard of the Westfield Freezing Company has been settled and the men resumed work this afternoon. It is understood that, as a result of negotiations between representatives of the management and the secretary of the Timber Workers’ Union, the 30 men concerned have been granted a slight increase in pay.
