WEYGAND AT VICHY

Talks With Darlan LONDON, November 17. General Weygand has had a long conversation with Admiral Darlan at Vichy, after spending Sunday with Marshal Petain. Vichy messages claim that France’s possessions in Africa was the subject discussed, but it is suggested that another topic discussed was the possibility of General Weygand becoming French Minister of War in succession to General Huntziger, who was killed in an aircraft accident last week. A German message suggested that General Weygand would become Minister of War. and that General Dentz would succeed him in Africa.
