SAYING IT WITH GIFTS

A visitor to Oklahoma City, on preparing to depart after a pleasant two weeks’ stay with her friends, discovered that her suitcases were insufficient to meet her needs. Her hostess gladly offered to loan her a large travelling bag, which she gratefully accepted with the promise to return it by express. This she did promptly, and when the hostess opened it she found it filled with gifts for each member of the family, from the eight-year-old nephew to the grandparents. The gifts were not lavish, states the “Christian Science Monitor,” but it was a thoughtful way of saying “Thank each of you for a lovely time.”
