INVERCARGILL SEAT

National Candidate (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, Sept. 11. Mr F. O. Rice was unanimously chosen as the National candidate for InyercargiU at a meeting of the electorate committee to-night. The other two candidates, Messrs E. H. Smith and R. G. Wefib withdrew. Mr Rice is 42 and was born in Invercargill. He is a director and business manager of the firm of Rice Bros., Ltd., manufacturing and retail confectioners.
