Iran To Hand Over

Germans

LONDON, September 9. Iran has accepted the Anglo-Russian terms. The Parliament passed a vote of confidence in the Cabinet after the terms had been, accepted. The terms call for the closing of the German, Italian, Hungarian and Rumanian Legations, and the handing over of German nationals.

Ih the House of Commons, the Prime Minister (Mr Churchill) said that Britain and Russia must also have unquestioned control of communications in Iran. Iran provided the shortest overland route to Russia for an attacking force, and with locomotives and rolling stock, the railway service could be extended.

The Germans have since admitted that about 650 nationals are in Iran. The joint commission executing the armistice terms, which is meeting for the first titae to-day, Will be faced with the problem of rounding up the Germans. The allies have promised to continue to pay royalties to Iran, Russia paying for the Caspian Sea fishery concessions and Britain for oil rights in the south. The Russians took the opportunity to demand the further development of the Caspian fishing resources and also permission to drill for oil at Khoorlan. ,
