ARMOURED VEHICLE SCHOOL
Provisional Selection Of Personnel
(P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 10. The following officers of the Southern Military District have been provisionally selected to attend a course of instruction at the Armoured Fighting Vehicle School, Walouru, beginning on September 17:— Major G. Brown (Christchurch), in the rank of captain; Captain J. B. MeMath (Dunedin), Captain A. G. H. Buchanan (Invercargill), both in the rank of lieutenant; Lieutenants (to the rank Of 2/lieutenant) D, j. Sumpter (Dunedin), J. B. Meeking (Marlborough), J. S. Hazlett (inVetcargill); 2/Lieutenants A. R. Wethey (Invercargill), G. V. McEvedy (Christchurch), J. T. Shacklock (Dunedin), A. D. McGill (Christchurch), P. J. Flood (Christchurch), T. M. R. Maskew (Marlborough), J. G. Furness (Marlborough), P. H. Brooks (Christchurch), and G. P. Hodgson (Christchurch). The following warrant officers and senior n.c.o's also will attend the course —company Sergeant-Major G. T. Hoare, sergeant R. J. Forrest, Sergeant O. G. Lamb (Marlborough), Company Sergeant-Major J. n. McPhail, sergeant N. Mayhe-Melghan, Sergeant E. R. Young (Dunedin). All will have the rank of temporary sergeant.
