Some prisoners in Stala XVIIID were housed in tents, but j lanent buildings are now stated to bv under c .nstruction. There is no seriou.. cause for complaint, but the men’ chief needs are food and < 'othing. These are being supplied fast as possible from thr reserve formed for tuis purpose by the International Red Cr ss C: ittee at Geneva.

The officers, after their capture, were flown from Beirut to Athens and later they passed through Yugoslavia. Austria and Germany In Germany they saw the prison camps containing British and French so lers. Tl.e French appeared to be harshly treated.
