Britain Gaining Upper Hand

WASHINGTON, July 31. According to a report to the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States Senate, by the chairman, Senator W. R. George, the American naval patrol to Iceland is apparently assisting Britain to such an extent that she is gradually gaining the upper hand in the Battle of the Atlantic.
