Grant Sought From “Congress (R. 12.3 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 24. General George Marshal said that Congress will be asked for funds to aid 190,000 more men to the regular army making the total 1,800,000. FLYING-BOAT MISSING (Rec. 1.45 a.m.) LONDON, June 24. It is learned in London that a coastal command flying-boat is missing from a recent flight to the Mediterranean. The German news agency said a German plane rescued a British brigadier-general, a Royal Air Force flight lieutenant and a sergeant in the Bay of Biscay, where they had been drifting for several days on a collapsible rubber boat.
