Approval Of U.S. Plan Urged (Rec. 6.30). WASHINGTON, June 18. Colonel Knox (Secretary of the Navy), testifying before the United States House Rivers and Harbours Committee, said: "We are going to live in a disturbed world for a long time to come.” He urged the approval of the St. Lawrence seaway, which would be of Immense Importance in maintaining American advantage on the high seas and bui-ding new ships in a reasonably safe area.
