FOOD STORAGE
Precautions At Hawaii (Rec. 6.30.) HONOLULU, June 16 Army officials disclosed plans for the construction of a huge food storage tunnel 6600 feet long, equipped with Its own power and water, on Oahu Island, which can be used as an emergency air raid shelter. The cost Is estimated at 750,000 dollars. Construction will begin on August 8 and will take until September.
