(Rec. 9.18 pm.) LONDON, June 17. The Berlin radio stated that 19 survivors were landed at Cadiz from five British ships sunk by bombers westward of Gibraltar on Sunday. British Protest to Japan The British Ambassador (Sir Robert Cralgle) visited Mr Ohashl (Japanese Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs) on Saturday to protest against the damage done to the British Embassy building during an earlier raid on Chungking. Sir Robert Cralgie pointed out that markings on the roof identified the building.
