MORE AMBULANCES

Section For Southern Command RUGBY, May 21. The British Volunteer Ambulances Corps is posting for service a further section of 24 ambulances with the Southern Command manned by female volunteer personnel. The ambulances have been given by organisations in cities and towns in Britain and Northern Ireland, light vehicles having been given by Rotary clubs and two by the Pharmaceutical Society and National Pharmaceutical Union. This makes a total of 205 ambulances provided by the British Volunteer Ambulance Corps for service with the British and Allied Armies. Of these two sections are manned by females and one section by male volunteer personnel.
