NORSE DISQUALIFIED At a meeting of the judicial committee of the South Canterbury Jockey Club, advice was received from the Racing Conference that no gentleman rider's certificate had yet been issued to Mr G. H. Paul, and the following resolution was carried:— "That Norse, winner of the Duke of Gloucester Cup, be disqualified for the race under Rules 142, sub-section 1, land 263, sections 1 and 2; and that Auctor be placed first, Taxpayer be placed second, and Fundy Bay be placed third.” It is understood that Mr Paul intends to appeal to the Canterbury District Committee.
