TRIENNIAL CONVENTION (P.A.) AUCKLAND, May 14. Welcoming delegates to the seventh national triennial convention of the Young Women’s'Christian Association, the Mayor of Auckland (Sir Ernest Davis) said he was greatly impressed by the world activities of the association. With two million women working on questions affecting the life and wellbeing of girls and women in fifty-six countries, he declared, there were bonds of understanding and friendship radiating from this great Christian association of women which would be of inestimable value when the time came for the building of the new world order.
