Weather —Intermittent light rain and drizzle in Westland and later in Taranaki, Western Wellington and Southland, elsewhere fair to cloudy; moderate temperatures. IN OTHER CENTRES Geraldine: After a heavy frost yesterday was fine and sunny. , Temuka: Yesterday was fine' and sunny with a light easterly breeze. The maximum temperature was 55 degrees and the minimum 24. The glass was steady last evening. Dunedin: Yesterday was fine and mild with a maximum temperature of 58 degrees. There was a fair amount of sunshine and practically no wind. Pressure was steady throughout the day at 30.3 inches (1026 millibars).
