Mr Menzies Impressed

Menzies (Prime Minister of Australia) told the press he was confident that the North American Continent could do more than any other part of the world to overtake Germany’s enormous superiority in material, which was the enemy’s only superiority, "i have been very much struck by the unity of purpose of the Canadian people and their enthusiasm for the war effort. As far as I can see, everything possible is being done to aid Britain, and it is being done with increasing speed.”
