I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the 1 following candidates have been nominated as members for the respective Ridings of the Mackenzie County— For the ALBURY RIDING—DAVISON, William Roy KIDD, Peter McKERCHAR, John Laidlaw For the FAIRLIE RIDING—KEENAN, Patrick James SCOTT, William TALBOT, Charles John For the OPUHA RIDING—KIRKE, Charles Vere MACKENZIE, Alister Bain Simon For the TEKAPO RIDING—ALLAN, Joseph MURRAY, George And as the number of candidates in the Opuha and Tekapo Ridings do not exceed the number of vacancies, I HEREBY DECLARE the said Charles Vere Klrke, Alister Bain Simon Mackenzie, Joseph Allan and George Murray duly elected as members of the Mackenzie County Council. And as the number of candidates in the Albury and Fairlie Ridings exceed the number of vacancies I hereby declare that a Poll will be taken, as between the candidates, for the election of TWO MEMBERS for each Riding on Saturday the 17th May, 1941, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the undermentioned Polling Booths: County Offices, Fairlie. Levels Comity Office, Timaru. Public Hall, Cave. Cannington School. Mona Vale School. Public Hall, Albury. Tengawal School. Mt. Nessing School. Cricklewood School. Kimbell School. Ashwick Flat School. Allandale School. or at any other Polling Booth in the County set up for the Local Elections on that date. AND I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that the following candidate has been nominated as member for the Mackenzie County on the South Canterbury Hospital Board— MACDONALD, Ernest And as the number of candidates do not exceed the number of vacancies I HEREBY DECLARE the said Ernest Macdonald DULY ELECTED member for the Mackenzie County on the South Canterbury Hospital Board.
