BURMA ROAD CUT OFF
Japanese Naval Claim Bv Telegraph—Press Association—Coovrlclv (Received February 23, 6.30 p.m.) TOKIO, February 22. The Domei Agency says the Japanese South Seas Fleet has issued a communique that the Burma route is completely cut off where it crosses the upper Mekong river as a result of the bomping of two Kungkuo bridges which have been abandoned. There is no evidence of repairs being undertaken.
