Miss Shearer. Wal-itl Road, has returned from a visit to Christchurch. Mrs G. H. Andrews, Evans Street, Is staying at the river. Mrs and Miss McCaskill, Wal-itl Avenue, are on a visit to Christchurch. Misses Dorothy and Winnie Thwaites have returned from a holiday visit to Dunedin and Oamaru. Miss Hunter-Weston, who is staying with Mrs G. H. R. Ulrich, Wai-iti Road, will return to Dunedin to-day. Miss Doreen Raymond, Park Lane, is on a visit to Mrs G. b T . Fellden, Geraldine. Mrs J. Innes, Haldon Station who was the guest of Mrs T. E. Holdgate at the rlverf has returned home. Mr and Mrs D. Mclnnes, Wai-ltl Road, have returned from Christchurch. Mr and Mrs J. W. Becker, who were guests at the Hermitage, Mt. Cook, have returned to Dunedin. Mr and Mrs G. P. Prichard, Park Lane, have/ returned from a visit to Tekapo. Mrs Humphrey Hall, Bank of New South Wales, is on a visit to Mrs Godfrey Hall, jr„ "Terrace Station," Hororata. Mrs J. C. Templer and her family and Miss E. L. Davies who have been spending a camping holiday in Waimate, have returned to Geraldine. At the meeting of the Timaru Borough Council last night, the appointment of Miss I. Lund as assistant at the hot sea water baths was confirmed. Mrs Stewart Hamilton, Wellington, who has been on a short visit to Mrs E. Douglas Pullon, Christchurch, has left to stay with her sister, Mrs Macaulay, Kurow.
