PLEASANT VALLEY
PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE The Pleasant Valley-Te Moana-Four Peaks Patriotic Committee held a successful dance on Saturday. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss H. McGregor, Dunedin; and Mr A. Crotty. The winner of a competition was Mr H. Scott. Music was supplied by an orchestra, extras being played by Miss E. Trumpet and Messrs D. Nelson and C. Coochey. Mr A. Blair acted as M.C. PERSONAL , Miss L. Cook, who has been the guest of Mrs H. Bailey, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs H. Bailey left on Sunday on a holiday visit to Christchurch.
