DEATH OF A. G. MACDONNELL
Distinguished Author And Commentator By Telegraph a«scnni ft fi n n— Conv-'oht LONDON, January 17. The death occurred suddenly of Mr Archibald Gordon Mac Donnell, author and historian. He was 45 years of age. Mr Mac Donnell served in the Great War from 1916 to 1918, and was on the headquarters staff of the League of Nations Union from 1922 to 1927. He published “England, Their England,” “Napoleon and His Marshals,” “How Like An Angel,” “A Visit to America,” “Lords and Masters,” “My Scotland,” “Autobiography of a Cad,” “The Spanish Pistol,” “What Next, Baby,” and “The Cruise of the Anaconda.” Since the outbreak of the war he has been broadcasting commentaries in the British Broadcasting Corporation’s service.
