There was a big attendance at the Scottish Society’s dance on Saturday evening and the programme arranged suited the tastes of all. The principal novelty event was won by Miss Caskie and Mr Clark. Other -rize winners were Mr and Mrs Simpson (Christchurch) . An announcement of special interest to all motorists occurs in this issue notifying the well-known name of The Texas Company (Australasia) Limited has been changed to Caltex Limited as from January 2 of this year.
