Fat lambs—The entry of 3535 sold at 18/- to 29/9. Fat sheep—The 2483 head yarded met with an erratic sale. Heavy ewes were 2/- to 3/- cheaper and wethers 2/-. Wethers made 30/- to 36/-, medium 24/- to 28/-, light from 20/-, prime ewes 21/- to 27/6, medium 16/- to 20/-, light from 12/-. Fat cattle—The yarding was barely sufficient for requirements and prices appreciated £1 a head. Prime steers made £l7/17/6 to £2l/7/6, medium £l4/12/6 to £l6, light from £l2/7/6, prime cows and heifers £l2/7/6 to £l6/7/6, medium £9/2/6 to £lO/17/6, light from £7. Pigs—The yarding of 282 fat pigs sold at 5/- to 8/- a head cheaper than last week.
