ON MOUNTAINSIDE
NAZI AIRMEN FOUND When two German airmen were seen to bale out of their machine which had been shot down by Spitfires over North Wales, search was made for them among the mountains. The hunt ended when the body of an officer was discovered 1000 ft. up in a boggy part of the mountainside. He had been killed instantly His body was taken to a village five miles away. His companion, a sergeant wireless operator, had been captured alive and unhurt a few hours earlier some two miles away.
