Duke and Duchess Leave Miami By Telegraph—Press Association —Copvrighi (Received December 18, 10.30 p.m.) MAIMI, December 17. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor departed in the yacht Southern Cross for the Bahamas. Ten thousand persons cheered them off. The Duke of Windsor, in answer to a question, said he had not been offered the British Ambassadorship of the United States but “I would certainly accept it if I thought it was in the interests of our two countries.”
