SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU
NO COASTAL SHIPPING The port was quiet yesterday and no arrivals of coastal ships are scheduled for to-day. The Port Whangarei is now expected to-morrow to load for Wellington and New Plymouth. She will sail for Wellington direct. The following list of coastal steamers’ movements Is compiled in accordance with advice supplied by agents for the different Lines:— EXPECTED ARRIVALS
LISTED MOVEMENTS To load for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui, the Storm will now arrive from Dunedin on Saturday. The Karu is not now due until Sunday to load general cargo for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via Lyttelton. The Waimarlno is now listed for Sunday from Dunedin to load on Monday for Wellington and Auckland, via Lyttelton. The Holmglen should be here on Tuesday from Dunedin to load for Wellington, New Plymouth and Waikato. NEW ZEALAND PORTS By Telegraph—Press Association WELLINGTON, December 18. Arrived—Karu (5.10 a.m.) from New Plymouth Storm (10.25 a.m.) from Wanganui. Sailed—Karu (9 p.m.) and Storm (10 p.m.) for Dunedin, Wingatui (10 p.m.) for Westport. WELLINGTON, December 18. Arrived—Walnul (10 a.m.) from Lyttelton. Sailed —Walnul (9 p.m.) for Napier. LYTTELTON, December 18. Arrived—Holmdale (5.50 a.m.) from Tlmaru. Sailed—Holmdale (9.5 p.m.) for Wellington. DUNEDIN, December 18. Arrived—Bear of Oakland (1.15 p.m.) from Philadelphia, Port Whangarei (3.20 p.m.) from Wellington.
