Admiral Nomura Appointed By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 26, 9.8 p.m.) TOKIO, November 25. The Foreign Office announced the appointment of Admiral Kichisaburo Nomura, a former Foreign Minister, as Japanese Ambassador to Washington. The appointment is subject to confirmation by the Cabinet to-morrow. Admiral Nomura after the announcement emphasised his determination to leave no stone unturned to restore Japanese and American friendship. “I know it is a difficult task. I will not succeed unless the Government and the people give me the fullest cooperation.’’
