H. Allchurch and Co. advertise their Rialto sale for to-day commencing at 12 o’clock with poultry including 100 pullets, also pigs. At 1.45 bath, etc., and at 2 o’clock a quantity of superior household furniture and effects. At 2.30 p.m. a freehold property situate 25 Park Lane, on behalf of the trustee of the estate of the late Charles Edward Torlesse will be offered. The Oamaru Show will be held tomorrow. There is a gratifying increase in entries in all breeding classes and hacks, hunters and ponies. This will be the first effort of the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association to have a one day show, and there will be a full programme of judging and competitions. Trains stop at show grounds to set down or pick up passengers. To-day at 1.30 p.m. at the Wentworth auction mart Runciman Pryor Ltd., will hold an auction sale of piano, Hoover, furniture, lawn mower, typewriter and ranges. H. Allchurch and Co. will hold a clearing sale on Wednesday next at 29 Ashbury Avenue on behalf of Mr E. Darroch. Full details will appear tomorrow.
