“TOUGH GUYS"

(From Our Own Correspondent) LONDON. September 21. Four hundred men have enrolled in a. School for Training Tough Guys that has been opened at Wilmslow. Cheshire, by Captain H. T. H. Unwin and a group of friends. , ~ Captain Unwin said this week: After a course with us, civilians know enough to keep parachutists hopping until the military come to clear them up. We teach civilians to throw away the old school tie, and beat the Nazi at his own game. “We show them the proper way to stretch a wire across a road, to crash a motor-cyclist; how to make an incendiary bomb out of an empty fruit can; how to use a Tommy-gun and a machine-gun, and how to deal with troop-carrying ’planes.” One of his assistant masters has seen service all over the world. He w’as with Lawrence in Arabia, and is an expert in guerilla warfare.
