OFFENSIVE AGAINST GREECE

Report of Hitler’s Plans United Preu Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright (Rec. This Day, 12.20 a.m.) NEW YORK, November 20. Hitle/s conferences this week with Italian, Spanish and Balkan statesmen and his private talk with King Boris are to be regarded as a political preparation for a German offensive against Greece, writes the Berne correspondent of the “New York Times.” Hitler’s plans include the conquest of Syria in the early spring. He intends soon to pass through Bulgaria, regarding which he recently conferred with M. Molotov, then split the British forces in the Mediterranean by marching across Spain and seizing Gibraltar. The correspondent expects official confirmation any minute of the fact that three to five German divisions are in Bulgaria heading for Greece.
