FELL FROM ’PLANE
Instructor Killed United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 19, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 19. Pilot Officer L. Baylis, instructor at the elementary flying training school at Kingsford Smith Airport, was killed when he fell from a training ’plane at a considerable height into a street in a Randwick suburb during an aerobatics manoeuvre. It was officially stated later that neither Pilot Officer Baylis nor the pupil, who brought the ’plane down safely, was wearing parachutes.
