Building Supplies To Be Conserved United Press Association—By *Cleetnc Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 19, 1 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 18. The Federal Treasurer (Mr A. W. Fadden), announced that any person desiring to erect buildings costing more than £5OOO or carrying out improvements to buildings beyond £5009 must obtain the consent of the Treasurer, who says that the Government aim is to conserve supplies of steel, copper and other vital war materials.
