YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, November 6. The following are the current quotationt on the Stock Exchange:—

BURNSIDE SALE AN EASIER TREND DUNEDIN, November 6. A large yarding of fat cattle resulted in a marked drop in values at Burnside to-day. Sheep met with a keen sale and lambs eased sharply. Fat Cattle Prime heavy bullocks were easier In value by 30/- a head and medium weight 20/-. Extra prime steers made to £23/7/6, prime £lB/12/6 to £2O/7/6, medium £l4/12/6 to £l6/17/6 and light and unfinished down to £ll. Extra prime cows and heifers made to £l5/17/6, prime £ll/2/6 to £l2/17/6, medium £B/2/6 to £lO/2/6, and light and unfinished down to £5/7/6. Fat Sheep Prime wethers were firmed by 2/- a head and heavy ewes by 1/6. Extra prime woolly wethers made 49/3, prime 41/- to 43/6, light from 33/6, extra prime shorn wethers to 40/-, prime 34/- to 37/-. light from 25/-, extra prime woolly ewes to 40/-. prime 35/to 37/-, light from 22/6, extra prime shorn ewes to 33/6, prime 28/- to 31/-, and light from 16/-. Pigs Heavy baconers eased by 5/- a head and light baconers and porkers by 3/-. Stores were 2/- to 3/- a head cheaper. Fat Lambs Values were easier by 2/- to 3/- a head and over the final races there was a further easing in values. WESTPORT COAL COMPANY By Telegraph-Press Association DUNEDIN, November 6. The directors of the West port Coal Co. recommend the >ayment of a final dividend for the year of 6d a share, payable on November 21, making a total distribution for the year of 1/- a share.
