CANADA’S WAR NEEDS
Huge Orders Placed United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 17, 7.50 p.m.) OTTAWA, October 16. The Minister of Munitions (Mr C. D. Howe) announced war orders for 550,000,000 dollars of which 86 per cent, will be placed in Canada, nine per cent in the United Kingdom and five per cent in the United States.
