Evacuated Children From Britain United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received July 9. 6.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, July 8. The liner Samaria arrived with more than 350 English children en route to the homes of relatives in all parts of the United States. The trip was financed by their parents, all of whom are well-to-do. Most were accompanied by either their mothers or their governesses. The group included Mrs Anne D’Oyly-Hughes (widow of Captain Guy D’Oyley-Hughes, who was killed in the torpedoing of H.M.S. Glorious) and her two children. Bridget, aged 17, and Janet, aged 12.
