A man of foreign appearance wearing the uniform of a British officer, who crossed the Channel with a contingent of wounded men, was arrested at a Hertfordshire hospital where the Queen visited British wounded men on Thursday. The man had described himself on board as a staff officer from British headquarters. The Southport police detained five alleged members of the British Union of Fascists. The police searched the premises and seized documents, ammunition and firearms.
