PRESBYTERIAN ATTITUDE By Tplpgraph —Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, June 10. The following statement on the attitude of the Presbyterian Church to receiving refugee children was macle yesterday by the Rev. Alan Watson, for the Presbyterian Social Service Association:— “The Presbyterian Church has eight centres in New Zealand with more than 600 children in its care and from information received, it is apparent that the church is doing its full share in caring for British refugee children. A conference of all associations represented on the assembly committee will be held in Christchurch on July 3 and 4. when no doubt full particulars of the Government’s scheme will be available and when each local association will be ready to state how many children it can take under its supervision.”
