DUNEDIN SENTENCES By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN May 3. In the Supreme Court this afternoon. Mr Justice Kennedy sentenced Robert Charles Heron, aged 52. to six months’ reformative detention for the theft of a cheque and nine months’ reformation for forgery, the sentences to be concurrent. For unlawful carnal knowledge, Paani Reweti Poreti (29), was placed on probation for two years on condition that he paid the costs of the prosecution. The girl in the case was described as very precocious.
