RAIN PROBABLE Special to " The Timaru Herald.” WELLINGTON, May 3. Winds—Moderate to strong northerly Winds possible, changing to southerly by Sunday. Weather—Unsettled, with rain probable, chiefly in the ranges; mild temperatures. Seas —Moderate. DOMINION FORECAST General Situation An anti-cyclone is still located to the east, but an extensive depression in the central Tasman Sea is moving south-eastwards on to the Dominion. Forecast Winds —Moderate to strong northeastly predominating, later changing to west or south-west in the north, and southerly directions probable, becoming general later in the week-end. Seas (New Zealand waters)—Slight to moderate south of East Cape and in the south Taranaki Bight, moderate to rough elsewhere. Eastern Tasman Sea—Moderate to strong northerly winds and rather rough to rough seas, a change to south-westerly or southerly advancing later from the West.
