The Secretary Of State for the ' Colonies (Mr Malcolm MacDonald) i stated in an answer in the House of ; Commons on Wednesday that 105 Jews !in Palestine were serving terms of imprisonment for offences in coni nection with possession of arms and | explosives. In some cases the sentences I exceeded 12 months. He did not think I that the time had arrived for a revision of these sentences especially as a number of offences had been committed since the outbreak of war.
