TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS TROTTING MEETING AND RACES AT CHRISTCHURCH. SATURDAY. MARCH 23. MONDAY, MARCH 25. TUESDAY, MARCH 26. WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27. THURSDAY, MARCH 28. Passenger train leaves Timaru 7.50 a.m., Temuka 8.19, Orari 8.36, Hinds 9.10, Ashburton 9.42 and arrives Christchurch 11.14 a.m. Return passenger train leaves Christchurch 6.30 p.m., Ashburton 8.15 and arrives Timaru 9.56 p.m. Both trains stop where required between Timaru and Ashburton, between Ashburton and Christchurch will make the same stops as the usual Timaru - Christchurch Wednesday train. On March 25 and 26, will also stop at Sockburn. On March 23, 25, 26 and 28, usual 7.35 a.m, Timaru-Ashburton and 4.31 p.m. Ashburton-Timaru trains will NOT run. On Wednesday, March 27, usual 7.0 a.m. Timaru-Christchurch and 5.42 pin. Chrlstchurch-Timaru trains will NOT run. For further particulars see handbills or inquire at stations.
