RETURNS FROM WOOL

By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, February 12. Woolgrowers throughout the, Auckland province shared in the distribution of more than £361,000 to-day, the prompt date for the third appraisal in Auckland of wool under the British Government’s war-time purchase. The appraisal comprised 21.200 bales. With the present cheque, the total distribution in Auckland this season will be approximately £1.063,000. This Is slightly above the figure for the whole of the 1938-39 .season, when £1.061,743 was distributed. With two appraisals still to be held it is clear that the total cheque will be a large one, which will bear comparison with the record realisation of £1,528,545 in 1936-37.
