FIVE PERSONS INJURED f By Telegraph—Press Association HASTINGS, February 11 Five persons received slight injuries vzhen two motor-cars collided head-on in a heavy rainstorm on the main road 10 miles south of Hastings late on Saturday afternoon.

The injured were Clement Leonard Maskey, Wiiliam Alsop, Stewart Munro, K. Retter, and Miss Katherln Williams. All suffered cuts about the head, abrasions, and shock. The men were all residents of Palmerston North.

The vehicles were practically wrecked by the severe impact.
