Fuel Shortage In Baltic
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright OSLO, February 8. Increasing ice formations on the south coast threaten shipping. Bitter weather and a shortage of fuel and electricity have rendered idle 400 ships, closed the schools and restricted church services. There is two months’ fuel available.
The loss of 33 colliers during f he war and the severe weather are hampering shipments.
