MIDGET Llf’E-SAVERS By Telegraph—Press Association WANGANUI, February 7. The Castlecliff midget life-savers, a team of eight boys whose ages range from five to 10 years, have taken part in their first real rescue. a bather suffering from cramp had to be given assistance, and a member of the Castlecliff surf section of the Royal Life-Saving Society went out with a line. The midget life-savers did their part like a senior surf team by handling the line on shore. The young lifesavers gave a cool display, and in their first emergency forgot nothing of their tuition.
